News from ShellyCanoeing in Madagascar, July 2003Where do I begin...... How are you? That is usually a good start. I had one amazing trip exploring the southwest of Madagascar. The way to travel is to be relaxed and take it one day at a time. If you have a set schedule I guaranty you will miss something exciting. I will write two letters since the trip was in two parts. This one will be about the 4 day river/canoeing trip with the youth group, and the next one will be about the 3 day outrigger/ocean sailboat trip that took 7 days due to bad wind. I will just break it down by days. So much of the trip can not be explained...only experienced. vocabulary needed:
