Canoeing in Madagascar, July 2003

Day two:

We got our pirogues and headed down the river. The three boys (Tobias, Reinier, and Joel) were in one pirogue and us girls (Anja, Louise, Tabita, and myself) were in the second pirogue. In general we just rowed all day. We had a few races. Took a swim break in one place hoping there were no crocs since the river was moving faster. Each evening we camped on a sandbank next to the river.
