News from ShellyPhoto Journal - Part 2, August 2003We spent that night in another village. This was my favorite village. We had brought two beach balls to use as life vests in case we flipped. We found a better use for them and played with the village kids for hours. There was a huge sand area. The wind was so strong Anja created a game. The two balls were thrown from up wind. The rest of us chased the balls. Whoever caught the ball took it up wind and let it go again. It was quite entertaining. I of course found a 8 month baby who became quite attached to me. I was successfully pead on 2 or 3 times. Anja is also a teacher so we spent a few hours teaching some of the kids how to write their names. This village has no education, but they want to learn.
