David Stroup

Friday 16th April 1999

I have been hesitating for the last week, wishing that I did not have to write this section. There is no easy way for me to pen this, and I know that for many of you this will be the first news you have heard.

David Stroup's parents wrote the following last week:

"Our son David had gotten into drugs; quit for the last six months; but for some reason did it one more time. He over-dosed (or got tainted stuff) and died early Sunday morning. We went to Janna and Jeff's in Lancaster Sunday after church and got the news Sunday evening while we were there. We came back from there yesterday late afternoon.
Memorial service will be Friday afternoon in Glenolden City Park in Glenolden, PA."

Dave died on Sunday, 4th April 1999. His funeral was on Friday the 9th. Danny, Skinner and Brock were able to attend the funeral.
