Things to Do Near Hot Springs
Hot Springs National Park
Hot Springs National Park surrounds much of the city
of Hot Springs. In fact, the Historic Park Hotel is just steps away from the National Park
Visitor Center.
The National Park has a number of hiking trails, as well as picnic areas, and "Hot Springs
Mountain Tower." The National Park also maintains Gulpha Gorge Campground, a few miles
from the Historic Park Hotel.
Bathhouse Row
"The entire 'Bathhouse Row' area is a National Historic Landmark
District that contains the grandest collection of bathhouses of its kind in North America. Today the park protects
eight historic bathhouses with the former luxurious Fordyce Bathhouse housing the park visitor center."

Lake Ouachita State Park
Lake
Ouachita State Park is about 15 miles from the City of Hot Springs. The lake supports many
water activities including swimming, skiing and fishing. "Nature lovers, photographers, and
geologists will enjoy walking on the slopes near Lake Ouachita's Caddo Bend Trail."
The State Park has camping facilities and cabins.
