Reunion 2007 - Colorado Springs, Colorado

Transportation

Colorado Springs is 1 hour 30 mins from the Denver International Airport.

Christa is planning on organizing shuttle runs to/from the Colorado Springs airport.

Activities

Flying W RanchFriday, July 13th - Flying W Ranch, Old western town, eatery and entertainment.


Other activity options:

  1. Tour the Air Force Academy -- free, neat to see, kids don't have to be "contained"...lots of room to run.
  2. Travel up Pikes Peak -- we'd have to figure out transportation since it's a drive, but it's so much fun and well worth it
  3. Garden of the Gods -- a must-do, in my option. It's free, we could pack picnics...gorgeous scenery, lots of room to run and hike, etc.
  4. Focus on the Family -- there's a great (free!) place for the kids to play...huge slide, things to climb on, fake plane, etc. and then there's all the "ministry" stuff that adults can tour
  5. Olympic Training Center -- not free, but it's interesting to see. Kinda boring for the kiddos though.
  6. Cave of the Winds -- really neat underground caves, but not too friendly for the littlest kids
  7. Pioneer Museum -- part of the Oregon trail
  8. Old Colorado City -- old, quaint shops set up like back during the Pioneer Times. It's supposed to be the same street that "Dr. Quinn" was to have taken place on. =)

Reunion Video

Mail or email photographs to Christa so that she can make a reunion video. Photos can be from RVA days (dorm parties, banquets, etc) or from the past 10 years (weddings, graduations, babies, vacations, etc).
